LDS Church Builders

An important ongoing project is the British LDS Church Builders project, which seeks to document and record the contributions by hundreds of men and women who voluntary served as Church Building Missionaries during the 1960s. With poor worship accommodation for much of its history in the United Kingdom and Ireland, President David O. McKay launched the initiative in an attempt to house the growing congregations, improve the experience for LDS members, and make missionary work easier.
